Recall notices have been issued for two children's products.

A voluntary recall is in place for the Mothercare Loved So Much Bouncer over a potential safety risk to babies placed in it.

If assembled incorrectly the fabric seat could become detached from the metal frame, resulting in a child falling through.

Only bouncers with a batch date of 12/2015 onwards and with a barcode ending in 843611-3 are affected by this recall. The picture above indicates where this information can be found. All earlier versions are unaffected.

This bouncer was sold in Mothercare stores and on the Mothercare website.

If you own one of these bouncers please stop using it immediately and return your product to a mothercare store where a full refund will be given.

If you have any queries please contact mothercare via email at BouncerEnquiries@mothercare.com

All queries will be answered within 24 hours on receipt of the email.

A second recall has been placed on the Recaro Optia child's car seat.

Manufacturer Recaro Child Safety has decided to voluntarily replace the Recaro Optia seat. The replacement programme is free of charge for customers.

Testing carried out by Which? discovered the seat was coming away from its base.

Tests carried out by Recario did not replicate the same fault, but they have still issued a voluntary recall notice on the product.

With the serial number of their seat, customers can use an online tool at safety.recaro-cs.com to determine if their product is affected and, if so, to directly register for the replacement program.

The serial number can be found on a label on the underside of the Recaro Optia.

At the Recaro Child Safety website at www.recaro-cs.com , customers can find more information about the replacement program. The company has also set up a hotline to answer questions.

The service team is available daily from 5am to 9pm UK time and can be reached on Freephone number 0800 0830 128.
