A CUSTOMER satisfaction survey has named Tebay services as one of the most satisfying places to stop in the UK.
Transport Focus asked motorists to rate their overall experience was based on a range of factors; from the cleanliness of toilets to how relaxing they found their stop.
Tebay Services located between junctions 38 and 39 on the M6 was rated the sixth best experience out of the dozens included in the survey. No doubt the picturesque location overlooking the Lake District on one side and the Yorkshire Dales on the other was enough to convince motorists of its merits.
Tebay was ranked 98 out of a possible 100.
Drivers travelling in Cumbria an beyond can enjoy a good experience at our other services in the county.
Southwaite Services North and Southbound near Carlisle scored 93 and 84 respectively; Killington Lake scored 90 and Lancaster North and Southbound 82 and 90.
