FOLLOWING a huge uptake for tickets, Sarah Millican has added an extra Cumbrian date to her 2018 tour.

The stand-up superstar will be playing a second Carlisle show next August, following spring appearances in Barrow and Keswick.

Since winning the 2008 if.comedy Best Newcomer Award for her debut solo show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Millican has fast established herself as a household name.

She has had numerous nominations for British Comedy Awards, being voted Queen of Comedy in 2011. She has also been BAFTA nominated in 2013 and 2014 for her work on her self-titled TV programme of which she has made three series.

Her countless appearances on top comedy shows include QI, Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and has chatted to Graham Norton, Jonathan Ross and Alan Carr on their respective chat shows.

Tickets for all the original dates in Barrow, Keswick and Carlisle all sold out on release, however, the Sands Centre has added an extra show, on August 1, 2018. They are available from the venue now.
