Behaving violently at a police station and causing criminal damage while drunk has landed a man a court curfew.
Colin Dion Thompson, of Harcourt Street, Workington, was brought before West Cumbria Magistrates Court on Friday for offences committed the previous day.
The court heard that the 40-year-old had been drunk and disorderly in Falcon Place, Workington.
Magistrates were told he had assaulted a police constable and behaved violently at Workington Police Station, making threats towards officers.
He also caused about £100 worth of damage to the charge desk at the police station.
Thompson admitted the four offences.
He also admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a woman at St Bees and behaving violently at Workington Police Station on June 9.
He was given a six-month curfew from 7am to 7pm and ordered to undergo rehabilitation.
He must pay £300 compensation and £170 costs.
