Navvies Bridge in Workington
Teenagers threw stones at a man while he was out walking his dog in Workington.
The youths, aged about 14 or 15, assaulted the 40-year-old man on the footpath between Navvies Bridge and the Opera Bingo, Tangier Street, at about 1pm on Friday before making off towards Northside.
He was left with minor injuries.
Police are appealing anyone who witnessed the incident, or who saw the teenagers - one wearing a blue hoodie -, to get in touch with PC 2395 on 101.
