West Cumbrians are getting the chance to meet their ancestors on Saturday.
A Roman Centurion and his lady, along with a Celtic chieftain and their friends will be visiting the Senhouse Roman Museum in Maryport from 10am to 5pm.
The public will be able to see a Roman surgeon at work along with a trader. There will be a weapons demonstrations and shield maker.
There will be games to play and a Celtic-style face painter.
Guided tours of the Roman fort will be held at 2pm and 3.30pm.
