Two West Cumbrian village churches are appealing for people to raise money for them while shopping online.
The Reverend Ian Grainger, vicar at Seaton's St Paul's Church and St Peter's in Camerton, is calling for more people to shop online using a portal which donates a percentage of what they pay to the churches.
Both churches are registered as a cause on Easyfundraising and people can buy online from many major retailers through the portal.
Mr Grainger said: "Each store gives a different percentage towards the chosen cause or charity. Every time people shop online, if they do it through Easyfundraising, the store they are buying from will give a contribution to the churches.
"We've been doing it for a while now, around 15 months, and we've raised around £200. We have around 21 people signed up and we would encourage more people to join. It doesn't cost them any extra money on top of the cost of what they're buying.
"In a world where people do a lot of online shopping it's good if they can also help a cause while doing so."
