LORRY spotters may be intrigued by an Eddie Stobart truck with an unusual name.

The logistics company's latest lorry rolled out of the paint shop bearing the name Henryetta Ralphaella.

Laura Parkinson, from St Bees, won a competition to name one of the famous lorries at last year's Touch a Truck show in Cockermouth.

She decided to name the lorry after her two sons, Henry and Ralph.

As Eddie Stobart has a long tradition of giving it's trucks female names, Mrs Parkinson came up with a unique spin on the boys' names.

She said: "I wanted their names to be in it so I changed Henry to Henryetta to keep the same spelling as his name.

"We have already seen our truck on the M6 and the boys get a buzz every time we spot it."

Lorry lovers will once again be able to get up close to giant trucks, fire engines and tractors at this year's Touch a Truck show.

Touch a Truck, which is organised by Cockermouth Rotary Club, will return to the town next month.

As well as plenty of trucks, there will be a Boogie Bus, fairground rides, inflatables and a clip and climb tower.

The event takes place on Sunday, September 17 at the James Walker factory site, off Gote Road.

Entry is £5 for adults and £2 for children, and includes unlimited rides.
