A capacity crowd raised a glass as Workington’s Oktoberfest Beer and Cider Festival enjoyed its best ever day on Saturday.
The festival, which made a steady start on Friday, saw hundreds of people pack into the town's Carnegie Theatre the following day.
Revellers could sample more than 50 beers and ciders, as well as prosecco and non-alcoholic drinks, while enjoying live music from Misfitz, Steve Spencer, Hoochie Coochie Moonshine Band and Andrew 'Spud' Sinclair.
The event is organised by Workington Rotary Club to help pay for several of their projects and for local causes.
John Head, community service chairman for the club, said: "Saturday was magnificent, both in the afternoon and evening sessions with a capacity crowd.
"The music was tremendous, the feeling was very good and it was a good atmosphere.
"Friday was steady.
"We ran out of all sorts of products, the prosecco went completely along with various ciders and beers.
"It was very successful."
