WORKINGTON car dealership Graham & Bowness is celebrating after a member of its staff achieved a long-service milestone.
Ross Hodgson, who is dealer principal at the Clay Flatts family dealership, has worked with the company for 20 years.
Ross, from Carlisle, relocated to the Workington site after spending three years as a sales executive with Graham and Bowness in Carlisle.
He started his career with the company in 1988.
Ross, 50, said: “The Workington site of Graham & Bowness opened in 1976 so it’s a great honour to have worked for the dealership from so early.
“Over the years I’ve seen the business grow and also our customers, many of whom have remained with the dealership almost as long as I have.”
Managing director Chris Irving said Ross had been a very loyal employee.
He said: “Being based at the Workington site for so long has meant Ross has become a trustworthy and familiar face to our customers in the Workington area.”
He is not the only member of staff to remain loyal to the dealership, as parts manager Ian Cowan will celebrate 40 years with the firm next year.
