A bed and breakfast business in Braithwaite has received two awards from VisitEngland.
Bisoi B&B Suites has been given the five-star gold award and the breakfast award by the tourist board.
They followed a stay by an inspector from Quality in Tourism, the assessment service for VisitEngland.
The business is run by Stewart Tauber and his wife Judith.
They received a five-star award from VisitEngland within months of opening and were pleased to have it upgraded and the second award added at their latest inspection.
There are around 4,500 businesses in the country with five-star gold awards and only about 1,500 with a breakfast award.
Stewart said: “There aren’t that many in Cumbria or indeed in the country with those awards and we are delighted to have received them.”
