A buyer may have been found for the Flimby Papershop and Bakery.
The shop has been empty since it closed suddenly in October after owner Nathan Newman, 40, as arrested for possession of illegal images, including still and moving pictures of babies and of using a camera to covertly take photographs of youngsters.
Newman is currently serving a 30 month jail sentence.
A "sold" sign has appeared on the Station Road property.
Estate agents Grisedales said no sale has yet been completed.
