A clothes shop in Cockermouth, which was badly flooded in December, has reopened in its original premises.
Annabelle’s on Main Street closed for a month following Storm Desmond but then set up a pop-up shop in another Main Street premises while work was carried out on the original shop.
Owner Anne Trafford said: “We are now back in. The shop has been refurbished and we have new colours, fittings and fixtures, it’s all looking really lovely.
“We are delighted to be back and grateful to all our loyal customers who have supported us throughout.”
There was about two feet of water in the shop as a result of the floods.
Anne is investigating what flood defence measures, including gates, can be installed.
