A Keswick takeaway can open until 1.30am two days a week after an application to change its licence was partially approved.
Zekai Erdogan applied to Allerdale council to extend the opening hours at Pizza Panorama on Main Street from a 12.30am close to 1.30am daily.
The bid prompted concern from environmental health officers because of the potential for extra noise disturbance.
The council's licensing panel met on Monday to consider the request.
Councillors agreed to extend the licensed hours to 1.30am on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
