A West Cumbrian farmer who is bringing Viking skills back to life has now turned his attention to glamping.
David Watson of Moorhouse, Greengill, near Aspatria, has applied for planning permission to turn an agricultural field into a campsite.
Mr Watson already has a Viking forge, called Moorforge, and a longhouse which he has established on his property.
Last month he, and Luke Moloney of Mad King Trading Company, held an open day on the site when more than 500 people turned up to see Viking arts and craft, cooking and fighting.
Agent Paul Baustead of Lakeland Building Design said the campsite would provide luxury camping.
