More than 40 locals gathered at Keswick's Inn on the Square to celebrate its first birthday.
Glasses of bubbly and canapés were enjoyed by guests, while the birthday cake, made by head housekeeper Clare Cockbain, went down a treat to the sounds of live music from Lee Hawker at the event yesterday.
The hotel’s general manager, Rod Nisbet, finished the event with a cocktail masterclass, showcasing several of the 30 brand new cocktails on the summer drinks menu.
Rod said: "I joined the group in March and it’s been a fantastic few months already, especially in the lead up to celebrating a year of the hotel being open.
"The evening was a great opportunity to meet some of the locals and to have a relaxed and enjoyable evening reflecting on what has happened in the last 12 months!"
The 34-bedroom hotel in Main Street was formerly the Queen’s Hotel.
With summer fast approaching, the hotel has geared up with a new cocktail menu and head chef launched the new Brossen Steakhouse summer menu today.
