A piece of public art in Maryport may disappear as land goes up for auction this month.
The land, at 64 Senhouse Street and 45 to 49 John Street, includes a wall next to the Original Factory Shop.
A locally made Roman-style mosaic was created on the wall in 2014.
It was a project by the Senhouse Roman Museum, Hadrian's Wall Trust and the Love Maryport team.
The Senhouse Street part of the property was once a shop and the back a service station.
The land will be auctioned by the Auction House on Thursday, February 18 and has a guide price of £30,000.
John Forsyth, Auction House director, said there had been planning permission for a covered market on the land but that had expired.
He added: "It could work as a residential development but planning permission would be needed."
