A new takeaway has opened in Workington.
Shaan Desi Spice has moved into the former Greggs shop on Pow Street and will be run as a cafe and takeaway.
Customers can buy a range of sandwiches, hot drinks, wraps and takeaway food such as pizzas, kebabs and chicken.
From January, Indian food will be added to the menu.
Mahir Ali, owner, said: "I'm looking forward to serving customers in the community. It's about building a relationship with them."
It will open between 10am and 5pm seven days a week.
Mr Ali, 42, has worked as a chef for 20 years and will employ up to eight members of staff.
