AN AREA of unused land in Keswick is being put up for sale by the county council.
The one-acre, roughly-triangular site at the junction of Borrowdale Road and Heads Road has been declared as surplus.
The council is seeking expressions of interest in buying the land, with a view to selling by formal tender by the end of the year.
Proceeds from a sale would go into the council’s general capital funds.
No guide price has been set for the site.
