Anita Willand, who runs her own handcrafting business, Silent Songbird Boutique, sent a batch of fragrance products to her favourite WWE wrestler ‘The Boss’ Sasha Banks at her US home.
And to her “disbelief”, former women’s champion Banks posted her delight with Anita’s items to her million-plus online followers in a video and Instagram photo.
Anita said: “I’m a huge WWE fan and I think Sasha Banks is an amazing role model for people of all ages; she’s a firm believer in chasing your dreams and never giving up.
“So I sent her a message and didn’t expect a reply. I thought my message would go unseen and lost among all the others she receives.
“I was in disbelief when she sent me a message saying she would love to try some of my items, and sent me her address.
“Shortly after, she posted to her Instagram. I couldn’t – and still can’t – believe that Sasha Banks has helped me.”
