Cockermouth restaurant is under new management

A new owner has taken over Cockermouth’s Tarantella restaurant.

Estevan Vargas, known as Steve, 35, of Moor Road, Great Broughton, took over the Main Street restaurant last week after being its manager for five years.
Steve has already made some changes, which include opening on a Sunday.
He said: “We have Italian-style food with a little twist.
“We will be open every day and we have introduced a new menu, which includes a traditional roast dinner on a Sunday.”
