A five-year-old boy was attacked by a dog at a Cumbrian holiday park, say police.

Officers are investigating the incident which happened at the Solway Holiday Park, Silloth.

The boy was playing on a green with another child when he was chased by a large brown dog that bit him on the arm.

The bite caused three to four puncture wounds and requiring medical attention.

The incident happened on April 27.
