A care worker has appeared in court accused of mistreating a man at a residential home.
David Leslie, 56, is accused of pushing a man under his care at The Eyrie in Moresby Parks, Whitehaven, which looks after disabled people.
He appeared before magistrates in Workington on Friday and denied ill treating or wilfully neglecting the man.
The charge relates to an alleged incident on July 17 last year.
He is due to stand trial in the same court at a later date.
Leslie, of Pearl Road, Salterbeck, Workington, was remanded on unconditional bail.
