Man, 35, arrested after machete incident
A 35-year-old has been arrested after reports of a machete-wielding man on a Maryport street.
Police and an ambulance were called to Ennerdale Road at 1.15pm on Saturday after a man was reported to be "waving a machete around".
A number of people, including children at Ewanrigg Community Centre, witnessed the incident.
The 35-year-old man has been bailed until September 30.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to call 101.
