Man arrested in connection with murder of Workington man is released
A man who was arrested in connection with the death of a Workington man has been released without charge.
Daniel McMullen, 29, of Beech Court, was pronounced dead after he was found injured at his home in January.
A 24-year-old man of Workington was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but police today said no further action will be taken against him.
Calvin James Patrickson, 22, of Newlands Gardens, has been charged with Mr McMullen's murder and is due to stand trial on June 26.
