Man charged for assault in a West Cumbrian shop
A man has been charged with assault following an incident in a West Cumbrian shop.
Neil Porter, 60, of Firth View Walk, Workington, has been charged with assault after an incident in Heron Foods in the town centre.
Police were called yesterday afternoon to reports of a 49-year-old man of Whitehaven being assaulted on Murray Road.
The ambulance service were called at around 4pm but said no one was taken to hospital following the incident.
