A man who threatened to bite off a police officer's nose has been fined.
Richard Telford, 32, of Garnet Crescent, Salterbeck, Workington, threatened to bite of the police officers nose while in police custody in the town.
The incident happened on Friday, December 23.
Telford pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at West Magistrates' Court in Workington.
He was fined £110 and must also pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £30.
