A second man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at Frizington Post Office.
The 20-year-old man, who is not local, was yesterday being questioned by police.
It follows the arrest of another man, also aged 20, last Thursday. He has now been released on bail.
The incident happened at 6.15am last Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the Post Office, on Main Street, following reports that member of staff had been threatened by a masked man with a firearm.
She was not hurt but was left distressed.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident and are still appealing for any witnesses to come forward with information.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Cumbria police on 101.
