A second man was arrested in connection with the death of Daniel McMullen, police said today.
Police said today that a 24-year-old man of Workington was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of assisting an offender.
He has been released on bail until February 17.
Mr McMullen, 29, of Beech Court, was pronounced dead on Saturday after he was found injured at his home.
Calvin James Patrickson, 22, of Newlands Gardens, has been charged with his murder and is due to appear before a judge at Carlisle Crown Court today.
