A Cumbria museum under refurbishment after being flooded has been hit by vandals.
Two males broke into the pencil museum in Keswick between 6pm on Thursday , April 20 and 9am on Friday.
They smashed a window at the premises, which have been closed since the 2015 floods, and caused damage inside.
Sergeant David MacDonald said: "The old pencil museum is a derelict building, which is unsafe for members of the public to enter.
"We would like to remind anyone that is considering entering the building without permission that it is dangerous. Trespassers will also risk prosecution."
