Maryport primary school one of best in country

A Maryport primary school has been rated one of the best in the country by Government inspectors.

I was delighted to read about this school in the paper. My children used to go to this school and can only agree that it is OUTSTANDING.

well done to this fantastic school.it shows how it pays off to all pull together as a team both teachers and pupils.hard work does pay off.other schools in maryport should follow by example,i will definitely be sending my children there, when they reach school age.

This school really is the best in Maryport in every aspect, the inspection just proves that, well done to the staff and children at the school.

That's great for the primary school, but its just a pity that the same could never be said about Netherhall School.

Its sad that for the majority of the pupils at this fantastic school, their attainment, and enthusiasm, will probably fall because their secondary education will not be adaquete enough.
