An air ambulance in the Annie Pit area of Workington
An air ambulance was called to Workington on Tuesday.
The helicopter landed in the Annie Pit area around 7pm.
An ambulance service spokesman said the call out involved a patient at a private address.
The casualty was taken to the West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven by road ambulance and the helicopter was stood down.
