Youngsters on the children's ward at West Cumberland Hospital have received a special Christmas treat.
The Briery Hotel at Stainburn and Tesco in Workington handed over presents and money to the ward to add a little festive cheer to the children.
Ward manager Ben Framton said: "We really appreciate donation like this as it enables us to keep the ward's toy selection up to date, as well as making the children's stay a little better."
The Briery held Santa meal days where customers paid a little surcharge for the Christmas meals they got at the hotel with the proceeds going to the fund, along with a raffle. In total the event raised £336.34.
Tesco supported the hotel by providing Santa and all the selection boxes and gifts he handed out to children, as well as donating the toys to the ward.
