A drop-in event will be held in Cockermouth after more than 40 people raised concerns over changes to prescription ordering made by the town's surgery.
Castlegate and Derwent Surgery, which is based at the community hospital, withdrew the third party prescription ordering service in January.
People contacted Healthwatch Cumbria with issues about the change and the organisation has arranged the event so its members and surgery staff will be available to talk to patients about the changes.
Sue Hannah, of Healthwatch Cumbria, said: "Doctors have explained that this is an attempt to stop wastage of drugs and to encourage regular health check ups at the surgery.
"People have raised concerns about access and inconvenience.”
