Workington MP Sue Hayman has issued a rallying cry for everyone to have their say on the Success Regime's proposals for healthcare in Cumbria.
There are only 12 days left for people to comment on the proposals, which can be seen here
Mrs Hayman said: "We must ensure that the strength of feeling in the local community about the proposals set out in the consultation document is felt, particularly on the downgrading of services at the West Cumberland Hospital and the future of community hospitals.
"I’m urging everyone in our community to respond to the consultation.
"It’s vital that those making the decisions understand how strongly we feel about the proposals that they have put to us."
The consultation closes at 5pm on Monday December 19.
Mrs Hayman added: "This is now less than two weeks away. I’m currently in the process of putting together my own response to the consultation.
"If there’s anyone who feels unable to submit their own response, they are more than welcome to get in touch with me via email and I will feed their views into my response.”
