Seven Maryport schools tested their cake decorating skills in the Great Maryport Bake-off this week.
The children, all members of the Maryport Joint Schools' Council, were given one hour to decorate a large cake and 10 cupcakes.
They had to decorate them to one of two themes, Maryport or spring.
Maryport Extended Schools' Partnership co-ordinator, Nicola Woolley, said the children had great fun, "and at the end of the day we sold the cakes to parents and raised £60 for the flood appeal."
The winner was Our Lady and St Patrick's School.
Other schools taking part were Maryport infant and junior schools, Netherton and Grasslot infant schools. Ewanrigg Junior School and Dearham Primary.
The cakes and icing equipment were paid for by the Maryport Town Council and the cakes were judged by local baker, Cathy Clarke.
