Pupils at Seaton Junior School showed that they know the ropes by taking part in a charity skipping challenge.

The challenge raised £1,600 for children's charity the NSPCC after pupils were sponsored to take part.

A representative from the charity came in to speak to pupils and the school then decided to raise money for it.

Teaching assistant Rachael Wilson organised the skipping challenge.

She said: "I'm over the moon as we didn't expect to get that much and we're really proud of them."

The challenge took place during an afternoon and it began with year six pupils followed by the rest of the school.
