Toilets are set to be improved at a Workington school thanks to a grant from a county councillor.
The boys' toilets at Northside Primary School are in desperate need of upgrading.
The school plans to extend the existing area to install a new toilet, refurbish the existing facilities and increase the size of an existing cloakroom.
A £3,000 grant towards the project has been provided by Seaton councillor Celia Tibble.
The money will come from her divisional allowance, which is provided to support causes in her area.
The scheme could not be funded by the council's schools capital programme as it is an upgrade rather than a like-for-like repair.
