Workington dancers got a chance to learn from a West End musical star at a Halloween workshop.
Ashley Luke Lloyd, who performed in the original cast of Billy Elliot and in the world tour of Mamma Mia!, held the workshop at Studio 9 in Moorclose.
Ashley, who set up the talent competition Northern Star, said: "Northern Star gives children from quieter locations the platform to perform at a talent showcase in front of industry professionals and celebrities that the young performers of London get on a regular basis."
Caitlen Edmondson, of Seaton, who attends dance classes at Studio 9 and won the competition Northern Star this year, performed in front of fellow dancers.
Children learned choreography with music from musicals such as Cats and the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
