The achievements of Workington Academy's first year seven students were celebrated at an awards ceremony.
The students, who have now moved into year eight, were recognised for good attendance, academic excellence, home learning, sporting and musical achievements and more during the school's first academic year.
Pianist Lucy Wilson, musical trio Charlotte Wilkinson, Alicia Graham and Emma Shervinton, and a dance group all performed on the night.
Nicola Tweddle, director of learning for years seven and eight, said: "It was a fantastic celebration of the vast number of student achievements that took place in the students’ first year at Workington Academy.
"The students have been a delight to work with since they joined us in September 2016 and they really have embraced so many opportunities both in and out of the classroom."
