New Rosehill season

FICTIONAL characters ranging from Mole and Ratty to Long John Silver will be on stage at Rosehill Theatre during the coming season.
The May-August season covers a wide spectrum of shows and concerts, including lots for children.
The Storytellers Theatre Company will present Wind in the Willows on June 7 and Treasure Island on July 25.
There will be 17th century debauchery with Moll Flanders on May 30 while Playing Burton explores the private side of a very public figure on June 20.
The music season includes Abba 2 on May 2 and The Hamsters - described by Radio 2’s Bob Harris as one of Britain’s best live bands, on May 24.
There will be Scottish folk with The Tannahill Weavers on May 25; Buddy Holly and the Cricketers will be paying a visit on July 20; and Martin Simpson, winner of three BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, will be on stage on July 18.
The theatre will be hosting showcases for local writers, performers and musicians.
Open Stage will be held on various Wednesdays throughout the season, starting with the Rosehill Players in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest from May 7-10.
