PEOPLE have until 5pm today to bid for a girl’s name to be incorporated on the front of motorbike star Valentino Rossi’s M-Sport rally car, which he is driving for Children in Need.
Cumbria-based Stobart Motorsport are backing MotoGP champion Rossi’s bid to raise funds by racing at next month’s Wales Rally GB.
Rossi will drive a Ford Focus RS with full Stobart livery that will provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for someone to have a girl’s name on the front of the car, in keeping with the tradition of all Eddie Stobart trucks.
The choice of name will go to the highest bidder in a charity auction.
After the event, the name will be transferred to one of the 1850 Eddie Stobart trucks. The winner will also receive Stobart VIP hospitality for the event.
Details on how to place bids can be found at www.stobartmotorsport.com.
