The Great North Air Ambulance
Three people have been injured in a crash on Harrington Road, Workington.
Two of the casualties are being taken to hospital and the third was walking wounded, an ambulance service spokesman said.
An air ambulance was called to the scene but was stood down.
The crash happened outside Hot Woks takeaway just before 4pm.
It involved a Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by a 23-year-old man, and a Skoda Octavia, also driven by a man.
The third casualty was a man, aged 53, travelling in the Hyundai.
A section of the road was closed for about an hour and a half.
