A retrospective planning application for a detached bedroom in the garden of a Cockermouth house should be refused by Allerdale council on the grounds it is unneighbourly and represents overdevelopment, according to the town council.
Shaun Rayson, of Harrot Hill, has submitted a retrospective planning application for the erection of a proposed detached bedroom to Allerdale council. The single storey detached building with a ground floor area of 17m2 is in his back garden.
Three neighbours have objected and the town council has recommended refusal.
