Around 45 businesses are taking part in the annual Cockermouth window spotting competition.
Each of the businesses has placed an item in their window which they do not usually sell and children taking part have to work out what that item is.
Each child taking part receives a small prize. The competition is organised by the town council.
Entry forms are available from the Tourist Information Centre in Old Kings Arms Lane, The Toy Shop and Leslie Cleeland on Main Street.
