Ccockermouth mayor Sam Standage will be hosting a coffee morning on Saturday to raise funds for his chosen charities: Friends of Cockermouth Hospital and Cumbria Multiple Sclerosis Society.
There will be free teas, coffees and mince pies at the event in Victoria Hall, High Sand Lane, from 10.30am to 1pm.
