More than 100 people attended a concert to commemorate people from Allerdale who lost their lives in 1916 during World War One.
The event took place at Workington's St Michael's Church last weekend with the proceeds being split between the church and the Poppy Appeal.
The concert, which was conducted by Reverend Ken Wright, featured a talk by Father Paul Harrison, readings of letters sent home from the frontline and singers.
A group of pupils from Netherhall School in Maryport also performed on the night. The musical director was Mark Hazzard, of Workington.
David King, organiser, said: "It was an excellent concert by all accounts.
"The Netherhall students were magnificent and there wasn't a dry eye in the church."
Mr King is also hoping to organise more concerts next year and in 2018.
