Flood alerts are in place across West Cumbria and beyond following prolonged rain.

Flood alerts are in force on the Rivers Brathay, Rothay, Winster, Cocker, Marron, Derwent, Lower River Eden, Upper Derwent, Stonethwaite Beck and Derwentwater.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for rain from 12.10am to 7am on tomorrow covering much pf the Cumbria fells.
More than 60mm of rainfall is likely on more exposed hill tops.
