A crash on a main route into Workington caused rush hour delays this morning.
A Ford Ka registered to an owner in Cleator Moor and a Citroen Relay van, owned by a company in Stoke-on-Trent, were in collision on New Bridge Road around 7am.
Nobody was seriously injured.
The van driver and passenger were taken to hospital by ambulance to be checked over.
Police attended the scene.
Officers said it was cleared by 8.30am.
Traffic entering the town was held up.
