A Cockermouth born and bred dentist is delighted to have landed a job in his home town.
Andrew Armstrong, 29, grew up in the town and attended Cockermouth School.
He went on to study dentistry at Sheffield University, graduating in 2012. He spent a year doing some vocational training before working for a year in Workington and two years in Kendal.
He recently started work at St Helen's Dental Practice.
"I grew up here and have family and friends here, it's a lovely place. When the job came up I jumped at the chance," said Andrew, who has a specialist interest in restorative work.
